People moves: Montagu Evans expands rating advisory team in Scotland

Montagu Evans has appointed Tom Fothergill (pictured, centre) as a partner in its rating advisory team. Based in the Glasgow office, he will advise its occupier and landlord clients in Scotland and the North of England.
Michael Brodtman (pictured, left) will join Grainger’s board as a non-executive director on 1 January. He previously worked at CBRE for 40 years and served as chairman of the UK advisory division.
Colliers has recruited Alistair Johnstone (pictured, right) to co-head its central London valuations team. He has more than 20 years of experience advising REITS, private investors and banks and joins from Knight Frank where he was a partner.

Valor Real Estate Partners has appointed Matt Ganas as senior vice-president to drive its pan-European expansion. He joins from Brookfield.
Carter Jonas has appointed Laurence Gercke as an associate partner to strengthen its Cambridge commercial agency team. He joins from Eddisons.
Gerald Eve has expanded its capital markets team with the appointment of DTZ’s Jamie Hall as senior associate specialising in industrial and logistics and Carter Jonas’s Jamie Kelly as a senior surveyor specialising in portfolios.
Charles Fraser-Sampson has joined Strutt & Parker as a consultant to enhance its coverage in the South Oxfordshire/Berkshire/Buckinghamshire region. He joins the firm from Bovingdons.
Zoë Osborne has joined Savills as national health and safety lead. She previously worked at Hammerson.
CBRE IM has appointed Jaap Snellen to the sector leadership team as office property platform lead EMEA. He has worked for the business for more than 16 years and most recently was head of office asset management for Netherlands and Belgium.
Gillian Giles has been promoted to partner at Ryden. She joined the office agency group more than three years ago and is currently in charge of Glasgow’s occupier services offering. She focuses on occupational strategy, change management and acquisition consulting.
Robert Walton has joined RWK Goodman as a partner in the real estate team. He joins from Michelmores.
GLP has appointed Jens Müller as sales director for Global Robotics Services in Germany and CEE.
SevenHomes has appointed Abdul Ali as executive director and head of office. He joined the business in 2019 as land director.
Avant Homes has appointed Jason Law as group IT director from Keepmoat Homes.
Simon Smith has been appointed senior partner at Alder King, effective 1 March. He was selected to the firm’s senior management board in 2020.
Furley Page’s real estate division has promoted Rebecca Crane and Anna Joiner to partner roles in the commercial and residential property areas, respectively.
Howard de Walden Estate has hired Suzanne Tomlinson as chief people officer and Victoria Anderson as retail and leisure asset manager.
Identity Consult has hired Clémence Tyrel de Poix as an assistant consultant. Paul Cole has joined as a senior health and safety consultant, while Daniel Frazer has joined as a consultant project manager. Hamza Mohamed takes up the role of assistant cost manager.
Jon Stott has rejoined Ardent Management as its group managing director. He began his career at the firm in 2004 before joining Hamer Associates in 2013.
Douglas Action has joined SiteSales as sales director. He joins from Berkeley Group.
Octopus Real Estate has appointed Nick White as head of development origination where he will take a lead role in the residential development lending team. He joins from Fortwell Capital.
