People moves: CWG hires retail and hospitality director

Appointments and promotions Canary Wharf Group has appointed Leanne Catterall (pictured, left) as director of retail and hospitality leasing to support the ongoing diversification of its estate. She joins after six years with the Crown Estate. Bruton Knowles has named Aled Jenkins (pictured, centre) as head of building consultancy for Wales, expanding the firm’s presence in the region. He joined the business as an associate in 2014. Retirement village provider Audley Group has named Gary Burton (pictured, right) as chief operating officer, in additional to his current role as chief financial officer, and group general counsel Mark Sadler has been appointed to the board. Jack Barnes has joined Marrons as an assistant planner based in Stratford-upon-Avon. He joins from Cassidy + Ashton. Mark Lewis has been named group chairman of iamproperty. He previously held executive positions at eBay UK, John Lewis and Moneysupermarket Group. The housing team at Gresham House has appointed Matthew Painter as director of development and delivery and Claire Cooper as director of shared ownership operations. GIA has appointed Michelle Condon as chief marketing officer. She previously worked at Hollis. JLL has appointed Samuel Rose as EMEA data centre transactions director. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield. Jessica Arrowsmith has joined Savills as a director in the Edinburgh office. She previously led the change management programme for the operations team at Edinburgh Airport. PLP has appointed Andrew Penny as independent chairman, James Deane as finance director and Jonathan Maher as development director. TP Bennett’s design technology team has hired Radu-Ionut Boeriu as its new head of building information modelling. He joins from Patriarche. Countrywide Surveying Services has appointed Rebecca Lohoar as associate director of client relationships. She joins from Hometrack. Home Group has appointed Hannah Howard-Jones as director of asset management and Monika Lee as director of building safety. Deepki has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Emmanuelle Nello as chief people officer, Olivier Pin as chief product officer and Colin Brown as head of global sales. Beauchamp Estates has appointed Charles Lloyd as head of sales, based at the agency’s Mayfair office. He joins from CBRE, where he co-founded the firm’s private office for ultra-high-net-worth clients in 2020. Richard Williams, managing director at Avison Young and a member of the CBRE board, has been appointed chief executive of Ringley Group. HDR has hired John Paterson as associate in the power team and Alison Campbell, Ben Boucher-Myers and Kerry Cheek as senior consultants in the sustainability team. Hannah Lawson has joined as a graduate consultant. Lichfields has made a raft of appointments at its London office. Ross Raftery joins as an associate director from Deloitte and Ollie Collins joins as a senior planner from Avison Young. Emma Taylor and Ed Welch have been appointed as economics consultants from Buro Happold and Aecom respectively. In addition, Lincoln Cheung, Michelle Gan, Liora Lederman and Amy Jones have joined the company’s graduate programme. Gateley RJA has strengthened its East Midlands residential team with the appointment of James Frost as a senior quantity surveyor and Casey Harper as a senior project manager. Industrious has appointed Tom Redmayne as managing director and head of Europe. He joins from WiredScore, where he was managing director of business development and oversaw its North American business. US-based events space operator Convene has appointed Niamh Martin as UK managing director. She will be responsible for site operations, financial performance and business growth. Simon Lee has been named as head of finance and group controller for the UK. Nikos Michalakis has joined YardNine’s London office as an associate director. He was previously with Gardiner & Theobald. Unispace Group has appointed former Buro Happold chief executive James Bruce to the role of group president, based in London, to drive global growth across its brands. Aitchison Raffety has promoted Jamie Simpson to area director for the Midlands and Dave Simpson to director for Healthcare. Craig Darby has joined Edward Architects as an architectural technologist from GSS Architecture. Hiral Patel has joined Savills’ Cambridge office as an associate director in the project management team. She joins from the University of Cambridge, where she was a project leader within the estates division.
