Pembroke appoints new VP

Pembroke has appointed Matthew Knight as vice president for European development. In this newly created role, he will oversee Pembroke’s development and capital projects in the UK, Germany and the Nordics. Knight joined Pembroke in 2015 as vice president and head of Australia after more than five years at Charter Hall, where he was senior development manager for over four years before being appointed development director in 2014. Prior to joining Charter Hall in 2010, Knight was a development manager with Multiplex. Mark Takeuchi, managing director of asset management and development, said: “We are investing in our team and strengthening our regional capabilities to deliver our value creation strategies in this core region and globally. “Innovation, expertise and growth from within is crucial as we share global best practices and create systems to help us work smarter and meet the needs of our markets, assets and tenants.” Pembroke has a global development pipeline totalling 1.5m sq ft.
