Panattoni parks Austin Racing at Burgess Hill logistics facility
Panattoni, a privately owned industrial developer, has signed Austin Racing to open a 22,500 sq ft facility at its Panattoni Park Burgess Hill logistics park in West Sussex.
Austin Racing has occupied the space on a 10-year lease and will use the facility to bolster the delivery of motorcycle and electric go-kart parts across the South East and beyond.
Through the new facility, the company will expand its operations, optimise production and distribution processes and meet the increasing demand for its products.

Austin Racing’s lease follows the relocation of EMED Group, a healthcare logistics provider, from its Horley headquarters to a 35,000 sq ft unit at the park last month.
Panattoni acquired the Burgess Hill industrial site in 2022 and launched Panattoni Park Burgess Hill last summer as a speculative development. The site serves as a mid-box, last-mile logistics park and comprises 12 units ranging in size from 8,142 sq ft to 403,708 sq ft.
David McGougan, development director at Panattoni, said: “This letting, following EMED’s decision to base its regional headquarters at Panattoni Park Burgess Hill, highlights the site’s growing reputation as a leading destination in the South East for businesses seeking strategically located, high-quality, sustainable spaces. The lettings at Panattoni Park Burgess Hill demonstrate our confidence in the demand for grade-A mid-box opportunities in undersupplied locations.”
Richard Austin, owner and managing director at Austin Racing, said: “The opening of our new facility in Panattoni Park Burgess Hill will allow us to streamline the distribution of our exhaust systems and chassis, continue manufacturing cutting-edge motorcycle and electric go-kart parts and create 20 jobs.”
