Oldham Council set to approve £306m regen plans
Oldham Council is expected to give the thumbs-up for its £306m plans to build more than 2,000 homes in the town centre.
The council’s Creating a Better Place initiative will invest in regenerating night-time economy schemes and improving the variety of retail space alongside the housing push.
Green belt land will be avoided for development where possible and schemes will be low (zero) carbon strategy.

Oldham Council has recently redeveloped its Old Town Hall, Oldham Leisure Centre and Parliament Square.
