A fire at Ocado’s largest warehouse during the summer will cost £35m in sales and knock £10m off profit.
The blaze at the Erith facility in south-east London, its third warehouse fire in three years, was started when two robots collided.
Ocado had said that the fire had only affected 1% of the site. It now says it lost about 300,000 orders as a result of the disruption, dragging sales down by 19% in the seven weeks after the fire.
