O2 adds indoor skydiving to Entertainment District
Indoor skydiving is coming to the O2, SE10, after AEG and Crosstree signed iFly.
The leisure operator will take space in the Entertainment District of the Greenwich venue, which, along with Icon Outlet, is owned by the Waterfront joint venture.
The adrenalin-spiking addition will open in mid-December, in what will be iFly’s first London location and its fourth in the UK.

The concept uses wind tunnel technology to simulate the feeling of freefall, with sessions set to last between 45 and 60 minutes. A 360-degree viewing platform will also be available for visitors to observe punters in flight.
Janine Constantin-Russell, managing director of the Icon Outlet and the Entertainment District, said: “To be chosen for yet another London first truly highlights the opportunity available within this destination. The Entertainment District at the O2 is consistently evolving, and we are always exploring new and unique concepts to bring to our all-encompassing, day-to-night leisure offer.”
