Norway’s Statkraft to relocate UK HQ to 22 Bishopsgate
Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy generator is to relocate its UK headquarters from 41 Moorgate, EC2, to 22 Bishopsgate, EC2.
Landlord AXA IM – Real Assets said it had let a further 25,000 sq ft at its flagship London office development to Statkraft, which is fully owned by the Norwegian state, on a 10-year lease.
More than 600,000 sq ft of the 1.275m sq ft at 22 Bishopsgate has now been prelet.

More than 600,000 sq ft of the 1.275m sq ft at 22 Bishopsgate has now been prelet.
Statkraft is expected to take occupation of the entire 19th floor of 22 Bishopsgate in 2020, with the space being handed over for fit-out later this year.
EG reported in July that the company was eyeing up space at 22 Bishopsgate.
The lease provides Statkraft with the flexibility to grow by supplying double the amount of space it previously occupied, as well as access to the 100,000 sq ft of common amenities, social spaces and services that will be available to occupiers as part of the building’s infrastructure. A further circa 102,000 sq ft of event space, meeting rooms and flexible workspace are also on offer following the recent letting to Convene.
