Construction is slated to begin early in 2024, with the first properties available before the end of next year.
In addition, the proposals are set to create around 107,000 sq ft of green space for the local community, featuring new hedge and tree planting, grassland and community orchards.
Bernadette Barry, head of planning and sustainability at Northstone, said: “We are determined to set a new quality benchmark for new homes and challenge outdated perceptions of new-builds.
“This will be a sustainable development, with all-electric power and heating sources and energy-efficient homes that will help reduce both carbon emissions and energy bills for residents. We have carefully considered the layout too, so both new and existing residents can enjoy walking and cycling routes, as well as wildlife-friendly green spaces and natural play areas.”
