Hackney Council’s plan for the 400 homes on the Nightingale Estate has been granted permission by the council’s planning committee.
The homes will be built on the 4.9 acres of derelict land on the Clapton housing estate, completing the regeneration of the Nightingale Estate, which will have delivered 750 new homes when complete, alongside 400 refurbishments.
The regeneration saw five council tower blocks demolished.
