Newcore to buy three-acre Derby site
Newcore Capital Management has agreed to buy a three-acre development site in Derby for £6.1m – a net initial yield of 7.6%.
The site is opposite the intu Derby shopping centre and is mainly used for car parks. Newcore said it will have “significant development potential”.

Hugo Llewelyn, managing director of Newcore, said: “We believe that, if the council and stakeholders are in favour, the site could be regenerated to accommodate a significant mixed-use scheme, featuring predominantly urban living.”
