New role for Deptford Storehouse as Spaces & Stories adds to studio space
Event platform Spaces & Stories has added former newspaper storage warehouse Deptford Storehouse, SE8, to its portfolio of London venues.
The riverside site, which has been taken on a five-year lease, will offer 96,875 sq ft of blank-canvas open-plan warehouse space to TV and film producers, agencies and brands. It is due to open on 24 January.
Potential uses include large-scale set builds, filming, product launches, immersive experiences, consumer festivals and photography.

This move forms part of Spaces & Stories’ strategy to curate high-impact spaces that deliver long-term value for partners and follows recent additions including 215,278 sq ft at the Beams warehouse in the Royal Docks, E16; the 607,999 sq ft Drumsheds in Tottenham, N17; and the 161,458 sq ft Magazine London in Greenwich, SE10.
Spaces & Stories, which is owned by Browdwick, has more than 35 locations providing 1.5m sq ft of space for creative work and events across the UK.
Located on the riverside and close to Deptford high street, Deptford Storehouse is also near the Albany Theatre, Deptford Market Yard and Trinity Laban Dance Studios.
