New guard appointed at CBRE Global Investors
Jeremy Plummer, global chief investment officer at CBRE Global Investors, is retiring after an almost 40-year career.
Plummer leaves the business at the end of the year and will be replaced by Kim Hourihan. Hourihan has worked for CBRE GI for 14 years and has some 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry.
During her time with CBRE GI, she has served as CIO – Americas direct real estate strategies and helped build and lead one of the firm’s flagship funds.

Plummer leaves the business at the end of the year and will be replaced by Kim Hourihan. Hourihan has worked for CBRE GI for 14 years and has some 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry.
During her time with CBRE GI, she has served as CIO – Americas direct real estate strategies and helped build and lead one of the firm’s flagship funds.
As global CIO, Hourihan will be responsible for all real assets investment strategies worldwide, driving the firm’s portfolio management functions and helping formulate and incorporate the firm’s investment market house views. She will chair the firm’s global investment committee and will continues as an executive committee member and co-chair of the firm’s global diversity, equity and inclusion council.

Julie Ingersoll will take over as chief investment officer for Americas direct real estate strategies. She joins the firm from CPP Investments where she was managing director.
