Premium fast food restaurant Bel-Air is taking 2,100 sq ft and Black Sheep Coffee is taking 1,760 sq ft
Black Sheep Coffee and Bel-Air will open in spring 2017 and join Leonid Shutov’s first restaurant in the City, which opens later this year.
The Leadenhall Building will be Bel-Air’s third restaurant and builds on the success of its Shoreditch branch and recent opening in Farringdon. Bel-Air uses sustainably sourced and ethically grown foods offering LA-inspired breakfasts and lunches.
Independently owned Black Sheep Coffee provides speciality coffees and coffee-inspired cocktails.
Both Bel-Air and Black Sheep Coffee will be fully licensed, enabling them to provide an evening offering including a range of alcoholic drinks.
James Rayner, asset manager on behalf of the joint venture, said: “The iconic Leadenhall Building provides the perfect location for aspirational brands such as Black Sheep Coffee and Bel-Air. These lettings are in line with our focus on enlivening our places and are a great example of how the City is evolving from a global business hub to include high-end retail, hotels, bars and restaurants.”

The Leadenhall Building, designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, provides 610,000 sq ft of office space over 45 floors and has achieved the highest rents in the City of London. The building is fully let.
British Land and Oxford Properties exchanged contracts for the sale of the Leadenhall Building to CC Land on 1 March. Completion is conditional on approval by the shareholders of CC Land.
