New date set for Mailbox IPO

The owners of the Mailbox office complex in Birmingham plan to list the asset on the IPSX stock exchange at the end of this week, after months of delays.

The long-awaited deal will mark the first listing on IPSX when it starts trading on the exchange’s wholesale market on 14 May.

Mailbox REIT, set up by asset owner M7 last year to list the property, said last week that it had met a £25m fundraise target for the IPO but delayed the admission date for a sixth time in order to accommodate more investor interest.

The IPO was initially planned for last year but suffered several setbacks, including a delay while M7 negotiated its own takeover by Oxford Properties.
