Currently Nasdaq occupies just over 30,000 sq ft at Woolgate Exchange, 25 Basinghall Street, EC2, which is owned by Taiwanese insurance firm Cathay Life, according to Radius Data Exchange.
Cathay Life acquired Woolgate Exchange in 2014, paying Texas Pacific Group and Cheyene Capital around £320m. It reportedly has plans to revamp the property, which has spurred other tenants in the building to find new premises.
Other tenants who have found new homes include law firm Sidley Austin, which is to relocate into Nuveen’s nearly finished development at 70 St Mary Axe, EC3.
Nasdaq, AXA IM Real Assets and Lipton Rogers Developments declined to comment.
