A multi-million-pound property in Belgravia, SW1, inhabited by the son of a newly sanctioned Russian oligarch could be seized by the government as part of the response to Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
Official records show the property is linked to Roman Rotenberg, a British citizen, whose father is Boris Rotenberg, one of Russia’s richest businessmen.
The mews house was bought in 2007 for £3.3m and registered to a Cyprus company called Loktan Services. It is estimated to be valued at around £8m today.
