More money from Lottery needed for Olympics

Hundreds of millions of pounds more of National Lottery “good causes” money is to be used to fund the spiralling cost of the London Olympics, writes the Daily Telegraph.

With the estimated Olympics bill now almost doubling to more than £5bn, government officials confirmed that Lottery cash would have to fill much of the gap.
