Campbell Park Northside sits on the Grand Union Canal, in the centre of Milton Keynes. The 30-acre regeneration will ultimately provide around 1,500 homes.
The Milton Keynes Development Partnership selected the joint venture to develop the site in 2018, alongside Crest Nicholson, which was appointed development partner for Campbell Park Canalside in 2015.
Urban Splash’s first phase of development will focus on an 8.4-acre site to the north-east of Campbell Park. It comprises two parcels of greenfield land.
The development will create 150 homes at the Canalside scheme to the east of Overgate Road and a further 100 to the west at Portway. The homes will be a mix of villas, townhouses, row houses and apartments, in buildings ranging from two to seven storeys in height.
A spokesman for Urban Splash said in taking the site forward it was “adding to our growing national portfolio of large-scale neighbourhoods in which we’re creating our House by Urban Splash homes.
“Right now we are working on our designs and look forward to discussions with the local community as we move forward.”
