Moda brings forward second scheme in life sciences partnership
Moda Living and Osborne+Co have revealed plans for the second scheme in their build-to-rent and life sciences strategy.
The pair have lodged outline plans for 730 homes at Lancefield Quay in Glasgow, in partnership with MRP, the development and investment division of construction company McAleer & Rushe.
The scheme follows a debut at Belfast’s Sirocco Works, as part of a £1bn UK-wide strategy.

Stephen Surphlis, managing director at MRP, said: “The community consultation provided us with valuable feedback, with more than 90% of people in support of the residential offering and agreeing that Glasgow needs new homes.
“The creation of well designed, well crafted and sustainable homes is high on the council’s agenda and the Lancefield Quay site is ideally located to provide a thriving build-to-rent development which will fit in perfectly with the fabric of the area.”
Lancefield Quay will be Moda’s second site in Glasgow and third in Scotland. Moda currently has a pipeline of 1,600 homes in Scotland, making it the country’s largest BTR operator.
