Mitsui Fudosan appoints new UK and Europe MD
Mitsui Fudosan has appointed Tomoo Nakamura as its new managing director for its UK and European business with immediate effect.
He succeeds Eiichiro Onozawa, who is returning to the Japanese developer’s Tokyo business after four years in charge.
Nakamura joined Mitsui Fudosan in 1993. During this time with the business he has led its Asia Pacific business in Tokyo and has also held the positions of deputy managing director of Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) and managing director of the company’s operations in Thailand.

In his new role, Nakamura is to lead on a further expansion of Mitsui Fudosan’s portfolio in Europe, working with Stanhope, in which Mitsui Fudosan UK has a stake.

Our focus remains growing the solid relationships we have with our business partners and identifying opportunities to grow our portfolio through investing in and developing prime commercial projects in prominent locations.”
Mitsui Fudosan UK is also relocating its London office from Berger House, 36-38 Berkeley Square, W1, to Cassini House, 57-58 St James’s Street, SW1, later this month.
