MIPIM property conference delegates warned on behaviour

Property companies jetting to a high-profile real estate conference in the south of France next week have been warned to be on best behaviour as nervousness over conduct in the male-dominated sector grows. The yearly MIPIM conference in Cannes is a major fixture for UK property developers, bankers, central and local governments and bills itself as the “premier real estate event”. Attendees have previously alleged a seedier side to unofficial events that sometimes take place around the main Cannes gathering, describing champagne-fuelled parties on yachts where hostesses mingled with guests.
