Mileway appoints chief financial officer
Mileway, Blackstone’s last-mile logistics company, has appointed Panayot Vasilev as chief financial officer.
Vasilev was previously managing director and chief financial officer for Blackstone’s European real estate division, where he oversaw accounting, reporting, operational and treasury activities.
Before that, he was chief financial officer for GE Capital’s European real estate arm.

Mileway, the largest owner of last mile logistics real estate assets in Europe, has more than 1,000 properties across 10 major European economies.
The UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France represent more than 80% of the portfolio. The company has also been growing its presence in the Nordics and southern Europe.
The business is headquartered in Amsterdam and has more than 150 employees.
