MCAP appoints Carter Jonas on first UK BTR investment

MCAP Global Finance has appointed Carter Jonas on lettings and property management services for its first UK build-to-rent development in Wimbledon, SW17. The firm is developing 173 flats at the mixed-use Wimbledon Grounds scheme. When complete, it will include a purpose-built 10,000-seat stadium for AFC Wimbledon, a leisure and retail offering and 600 new homes. MCAP is the European subsidiary of New York-headquartered Marathon Asset Management. Jochen Kauschmann, head of asset management for Marathon in Europe, said its first acquisition in south-west London aims to “offer attractive, spacious and professionally managed accommodation to the local market”.
