Matchesfashion.com has signed a 10-year lease on the new space and is expected to take occupation in Q1.
The letting follows Kraft Heinz Company’s decision to take 38,000 sq ft on levels 20 and 21 on a 12-year lease to relocate its European and UK headquarters from Hayes, Middlesex, to the Shard in Q2 2017.
The Shard is home to 29 companies across sectors including energy, retail, finance, technology, healthcare and professional services.
The 600,000 sq ft building is now almost fully let.
Shard’s developer Irvine Sellar, co-owner and vice-chairman of REM, which leases the building, said the company was considering holding back the limited remaining space for other companies wishing to expand.
London Bridge Quarter, the £3.5bn development by Sellar Group and the State of Qatar is now 97% let.
JLL and Knight Frank are the leasing agents for the Shard; Matchesfashion.com was advised by Making Moves; Kraft Heinz was advised by CBRE.
