Mapp buys flexible office operator Re-Defined

Property management company Mapp has bought Re-Defined, a flexible office operator which was set up by two former WeWork executives.

The company, brainchild of co-founders Oliver Meyers and Gibran Dar, will keep its branding as it comes under the control of Mapp’s workspace team, which is led by former Workspace Group and Hana director James Friedenthal.

Re-Defined’s first flex space will be at Louisa Ryland House in Birmingham. Totalling 30,000 sq ft across four floors, the space is designed to accommodate a range of occupiers, with hot desks, co-working suites, conference facilities and large private offices of up to 5,000 sq ft. The site is due to open at the end of Q2 2022.
