Maple Grove gets approval for Lancashire mixed-use scheme

Maple Grove Developments has been given the go-ahead for a multi-million-pound mixed-used site in Lancashire on which it has teamed up with the country council. The Lancashire Central site at Cuerden will include 1.6m sq ft of commercial space for industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and research and development use, and could create 2,400 jobs during its construction and 5,600 full-time jobs once complete. As well as workspace it will have 116 new homes, food and drink outlets, a gym, hotel, crèche and health centre.
