Madsen pieces together £27m Jigsaw

A little-known investor has made an offer to buy fashion chain Jigsaw.

Henrik Madsen has tabled a £27m bid for the 41-store retailer, which is owned by Carphone Warehouse co-founder David Ross.

Last September, creditors approved a CVA that resulted in the chain closing almost half its stores. It moved the remaining 41 shops on to turnover-based rents.
