M7 to open Dublin office

M7 Real Estate has expanded its presence in Ireland with a new office in Dublin. The investor and asset manager has taken space at 15-17 Percy Place, Dublin 4, which has taken its office count to 16. Its European network now covers 14 countries. It will focus on acquisition and asset management of industrial, logistics and office assets in the greater Dublin area. It has also hired Cushman & Wakefield senior surveyor James Smith as an asset manager. At C&W, he spent more than three years in its Ireland industrial and logistics team advising clients on acquisitions, asset management activities and disposals. Smith’s previous clients include Quanta Capital; Rohan Holdings; McGarrell Reilly; Mazars; Deloitte; Grant Thornton; Cerberus; and Pepper Asset Servicing.  He will report to John Murnaghan, head of UK and Ireland at M7. M7’s Irish portfolio comprises 15 properties collectively measuring around 1 m sq ft, consisting of primarily industrial and logistics space.   M7 says it expects to “imminently add” to this portfolio.
