LXi REIT enters FTSE 250

LXi REIT will be added to the FTSE 250 Index effective from market close on Friday 20 December. The REIT invests in UK commercial property and prelet inflation-linked leases. It is known for buying properties in deals that other institutions, especially open-ended funds under pressure and seeking liquidity, have dropped. Last month, it recorded a surge in portfolio value in its half-year results. EPRA NAV per share rose 4.33% to 119.56p and total NAV return was 6.8%.
