LSH races to lead on M27 corridor

Another solid showing along the south coast helped propel Lambert Smith Hampton to the top of EGi’s M27 corridor league table. Marginally increasing its tally to 177,000 sq ft in the 12 months to August 2016, the agent claimed the top spot acting on the most disposals – 48 – and also, alongside Realest, the largest: the 53,872 sq ft letting to Utilita Energy at Hutwood Court, Eastleigh. Regional agents as ever gave the national firms a run for their money; making up five of the top seven, and taking 60% market share overall. At 3,300 sq ft, the average deal size increased for the third year in a row amid a fall in take-up of 15% to 517,000 sq ft.

Going up

Realest. New entrants last year, this time out Realest has rocketed up to third place; quadrupling take-up to 115,911 sq ft thanks in large part to the jointly brokered deal in Eastleigh to Utilita Energy.

Going down

Knight Frank drop to 10th after a top three finish last year. This year’s solitary 13,325 sq ft deal at Forum 5, Fareham to Peach Telecom was enough to edge in to the top 10.
