Hammersmith and Fulham council has signed a 15-year joint venture deal with Stanhope to build new homes.
The two companies will identify sites for homes, and will guide each scheme through planning and development, sharing the profits.
HFS Developments – the joint venture – has two council-owned sites with space for some 320 homes, of which 40% will be affordable. Work is due to begin next year.
