Level Tap is set to launch a gaming and esports venue in Liverpool to host and broadcast live events.
The firm has signed a lease on 6,500 sq ft of space at Grosvenor Liverpool ONE’s Hanover Street, with the opening expected in early May.
Spanning two floors, Level Tap’s mezzanine floor will be a base for streamers and competing teams broadcasting their gameplay onto projectors and TVs around the venue, whilst the lower level will house a lounge area, with bar and dining tables, as well as an ‘arena’ seating over 100.
This will be both Level Tap’s first brick-and-mortar facility, as well as the city’s first gaming site.
The deal builds on the recent relocation and upsize of coffee company Bean Coffee Roasters, which will be launching its concept on Liverpool ONE’s College Lane in May.
Metis and Starka acted for Liverpool ONE, whilst Level Tap dealt direct.
