Lidl heads to Eurocentral

Discount supermarket chain Lidl has bought 50 acres of land at Eurocentral in North Lanarkshire from Scottish Enterprise to build a new 750,000 sq ft distribution hub.

Construction has started on site, and it will be the supermarket’s new distribution centre in Scotland as it upsizes from its existing premises in Livingston.

David Cobban, director in the business space team at Savills Scotland, said: “This move has allowed Lidl to design and build its own bespoke unit in the heart of Scotland. We are extremely pleased to be able to support the company’s ongoing growth in Scotland at Eurocentral.”
