Insurance group Legal & General plans to adopt a new hybrid working policy across its UK workforce.
In its annual results statement, the company said it had seen little harm from new ways of working during Covid-19 lockdowns and would now make a shift in working practices over the course of this year.
“Although Covid-19 lockdowns in 2021 had some impact for our business operations, the majority of our business services have operated normally, and we expect to transition in 2022 to a hybrid office:home working environment that will seek to maintain high standards of customer service and internal control,” the company said.
L&G, the head office of which is at 1 Coleman Street, EC2, did not comment on whether the new working practices would affect its real estate footprint.
