Lendlease hires Greystar’s Cseplo-Jeffrey as BTR director

Lendlease has hired Valerie Cseplo-Jeffrey as its new operations director for build-to-rent. Cseplo-Jeffery, who has previously held roles at Bozzuto and Greystar, joins the developer after two decades of experience in the US BTR market. She will be working under Lendlease’s head of BTR, Stephanie Barbabosa. Cseplo-Jeffery will oversee day-to-day operations and lead the company’s team that launched BTR communities Park Central West and Park Central East in Elephant and Castle in 2021. She said: “I can’t wait to bring all I have learned from the US to the UK market and make a meaningful contribution to both Living by Lendlease and the emerging build-to-rent sector.” Cseplo-Jeffery’s appointment comes as Lendlease launches its new 118-unit BTR development City Lights Point, a community spread across 2.5 acres also located in Elephant and Castle.
