Leadership reshuffle at Argent after departure of managing partner

Argent has shuffled its managing partners as Anna Strongman leaves the business to become chief executive of Oxford University Development. [caption id="attachment_1044893" align="alignright" width="150"] Nick Searl[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1044894" align="alignright" width="150"] Robert Evans[/caption] Current partners Nick Searl and Robert Evans will become joint managing partners of the management business, Argent (Property Development) Services, while chief operating officer, Morwenna Hall, and head of Argent Related Residential, Tom Goodall, have been made partners. Strongman, who has been with the business for 12 years, leaves in September. Evans will continue his role leading Argent’s King’s Cross estate and Searl will remain joint lead on Argent Related’s Brent Cross project. Hall has been with Argent for nine years and has been involved in various aspects of the King’s Cross project, including delivery of Coal Drops Yard. She has been chief operating officer since 2018. Goodall joined Argent in 2012 and has delivered significant projects at King’s Cross, including the Gasholders apartments. In 2017, he took the lead of Argent Related’s project at Tottenham Hale and last year was appointed head of residential for Argent Related. David Partridge will continue his roles as senior partner and chairman of Argent Related. Other partners, Mike Lightbound and Will Colthorpe, will continue in their roles as chief financial officer and head of King’s Cross development respectively. Searl said: “It’s a real privilege to take up this role and particularly exciting to be working together with Robert to lead such a talented team. The business is at a seminal moment in its almost 40-year evolution, where we are moving increasingly from development to management activities at King’s Cross but also just embarking on the development phase of our new projects. In all cases, sustainability, health and new ways of working and living will lead our thinking.” Evans added: “Like Nick, I feel a great sense of pride taking up this position and I’m excited about the challenges that we and the other partners will face together. Throughout my 20+ year career with Argent, we have never stopped evolving and looking towards the future. We continue to develop the King’s Cross Estate, which has established a worldwide reputation for place-making and regeneration. Our ongoing and future projects, working with innovative partners such as AustralianSuper, Federated Hermes and Related, will set new standards for city building. Our developments have always been more than just a collection of buildings.
