Korean biotech firm settles at Kadans’ Sovereign House
MediMab Biotherapeutics has opened a new facility at Sovereign House on Abingdon Science Park, Oxfordshire, developed by Kadans Science Partner.
Kadans acquired Sovereign House for £4.8m in 2022.
The 15,774 sq ft facility, featuring wet labs and offices, is expected to help the Korea-headquartered biotech company accelerate the development of its immuno-oncology therapeutics.

MediMab has moved into a 5,363 sq ft suite from the BioEscalator in Oxford. It will accompany Helix Geospace, which has been based at Sovereign House since January this year.
Abingdon Science Park is a research campus spanning more than 500,000 sq ft. It is home to companies including Genefirst, Sherlock Biosciences, Akamis Bio, Penlon, Scilogica and Oxdevice.
Kadans has also recently completed Barton House at the science park. The building totals 25,000 sq ft of laboratory space and houses a café.
DTRE and Bidwells are joint leasing agents on the park.
