In March, Argent secured DLA Piper for the top two floors, taking 40,277 sq ft at a rent of £34.50 per sq ft on a 15-year lease. Restaurant and wine bar Vinoteca is also due to move into a ground-floor unit. The building has four floors left to let.
Knights will move 100 employees from its office at Lancaster House on Newhall Street later this year following the fit-out. It said the new office will support expansion in the region.
The move follows a recent commitment at Embankment House in Nottingham and moves in Leeds, following company acquisitions as it expands operations, adding three new offices this summer. The law firm now has 16 offices across the UK and around 900 employees.
The 2m sq ft Paradise redevelopment is being brought forward by Argent in partnership with Birmingham City Council, with backing from Federated Hermes and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. It comprises 10 buildings with offices, a hotel, BTR and commercial space across 17 acres in the city centre.
CBRE and Avison Young are the leasing agents.
