Patch has also spent 15 years in the industry, working with rural estates in southern England, recently specialising in estate management and property advisory services for a range of clients, including private estates, institutions and corporate firms.
She is also a trustee for the Surrey County Agricultural Society, a committee member for the Surrey Country Land and Business Association branch, and the current chairperson for the Sussex Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
Evans-Freke has managed estates all over the UK for private, institutional, and charity landowners and was previously a partner at Savills. At Knight Frank, he will support estate owners across the South East of England.
In their new roles, Evans-Freke, Patch, and Swift are joined by a team of consultants who will be supporting and advising estate owners and rural property businesses across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire.
Knight Frank head of residential Tim Hyatt said: “We have seen a significant shift in government policy, moving the focus from food production to environmental protection and biodiversity enhancement.
“This is a seismic change for farmers, landowners, and the wider rural sector. This latest raft of appointments, and new office presence, forms part of our ambitious plan for growth that is seeing us extend our rural offer across the country to better support the industry at this important turning point.’’
Knight Frank head of rural consultancy James Farrell said that the appointment of Swift, Patch, and Evans-Freke “forms part of [an] extensive expansion plan’’.
