Kingston council offers site for 198-home scheme

The Royal Borough of Kingston Council has appointed Montagu Evans to find a developer for the regeneration of Cattle Market car park. The site is to be sold on a long leasehold, totalling 977 years at nil ground rent, with no guide price. Offers are being sought on an unconditional or subject-to-planning basis. The development land, located near Kingston station, covers 1.09 acres and is formed of a basement and surface-level car park comprising 600 spaces. The council expects the private developer to deliver a residential-led mixed-use scheme, comprising 198 homes across two blocks of eight and 15 storeys. The plans also include retail, leisure, educational or office space.
