KFC has outlined plans to open 300 new restaurants across the UK and Ireland in the next five years.
The fast-food chain, which launched its 1,000th store during Q1 this year, said it was “committed to reviving the UK high street”. It has opened 160 locations in the past five years.
A further 50 locations are expected to open this year. The brand now employs more than 27,000 people in the UK and Ireland, with scope for 1,500 new jobs this year.
