JLL races ahead in Leeds Radius battle
JLL has extended its lead at the top of the Radius Leeds office disposals league table as the market battled valiantly to live up to the spectacular highs of the previous year’s figures.
The city boasted its largest private sector deal in more than 10 years, with Sky Bet taking 135,000 sq ft at MEPC’s 4 Wellington Place, with the two agents on that deal – JLL and Savills – in first and second place respectively.
Overall take-up was down by 22% on the previous 12 months, although figures were boosted by a 378,000 sq ft government letting. And although this year’s figures are down by around 250,000 sq ft on the previous year, they are up by almost the same amount on two years ago.
