IPSX chief executive Roger Clarke said: “Issuers are now searching for fresh avenues to release equity from their assets while still retaining flexible ownership, which is proving challenging in the current economic climate. Similarly, investors are redirecting allocations to create more defensive portfolios with access to liquidity, creating a shift towards investment-grade assets that decorrelate from mainstream equity markets and offer inflation protection.”
The exchange’s next planned IPO, for Bridgewater Place in Leeds, was announced last month.
