IPSX hires AXA transactions head
IPSX, a stock exchange on which commercial property owners can list individual assets, has appointed a top executive from AXA as a senior adviser.
Huw Stephens has joined IPSX Group to support its management and capital markets teams, with a focus on bringing new issuers to the exchange.
Stephens spent 24 years at AXA IM-Real Assets, most recently as head of UK transactions. In that role he oversaw a £5bn investment and development programme, including the development of the 22 Bishopsgate tower and deals such as the acquisition and sale of Ropemaker Place.

Roger Clarke, IPSX’s head of capital markets, told EG last year that the exchange has a list of potential offerings being discussed worth a total of more than £6bn, with listings expected to begin this year.
Chief executive David Delaney added at the time: “Commercial real estate has been an opaque, unregulated market, and yet it is [worth] £900bn in the UK. The ability to take that and move it into the 21st century – into a regulated, transparent, liquid market open to a broad range of investors – is unbelievably exciting.”
