Intu appoints new non-exec director

Intu has appointed Cheryl Millington as an independent non-executive director effective from 3 May. Millington will replace Rakhi Goss-Custard, who is to stand down from the board at the next AGM, as non-executive director with strategic digital expertise. Millington will be a member of the embattled shopping centre owner’s remuneration, audit and nomination and review committees. She is also a non-executive director of Equiniti Group and Atom Bank. Millington’s most recent role was as chief digital officer at Travis Perkins, where she was responsible for designing and implementing the digital strategy across the group. Prior to that she was chief digital officer and a member of the executive board at Waitrose and chief information and data officer at Asda Stores.
