Inland seals £77m deal on Dagenham development
Inland Homes has exchanged contracts with housing association Clarion Housing Group for the sale and development of 325 homes in Dagenham, east London.
The £77.7m contract is for the sale of the land (which will be sold for £14m once the scheme has been completed) and the cost of building the four-acre Merrielands Crescent site.
The new homes will be built over a number of five- to 10-storey apartment blocks. The scheme will also include more than 16,200 sq ft of commercial space and 178 car parking spaces.

This is the latest contract Inland Homes has won from Clarion Housing Group. The housebuilder is currently building a 135-home scheme in Alperton, west London, for the housing association.
Following the deal, Inland Homes now has a forward order book of more than £145m for housing partnership agreements, and is building a total of more than 800 homes between all its housing association clients.
The company has a target to deliver 1,000 homes a year.
Last month, Inland Homes acquired Hillington Gateway in west London on behalf of a private investor ().
The six-acre site is allocated for a residential-led mixed-use scheme, with the capacity for more than 400 homes.
Inland will now manage the planning process and will seek to partner with a housing association or build-to-rent operator to bring development forward.
