Modular builder ilke Homes is planning its largest scheme to date, with 225 affordable homes in Southend-on-Sea in Essex.
ilke has acquired 14.5 acres for its second scheme in Essex, and aims to lodge a planning application for the scheme this month. The builder is in talks with a housing association to acquire the homes and hopes to be on site by next summer.
The deal follows its first acquisition in January, picking up 15 acres in Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock. ilke is looking to increase its portfolio in the South East, with a focus on affordable housing.
