Hybrid working hits Leon figures

Losses rose from £7.5m to £12.6m at fast food chain Leon last year, according to recently filed accounts.

However, the addition of 10 new sites over the year helped boost revenue by almost £30m to £82.6m.

The fall in profitability for the business, which is part of the Issa brothers’ EG Group, was blamed on hybrid working and the fact that many of the restaurants now only operated for three days a week.
