The Howard de Walden Estate has appointed Rob Kirk as its interim retail and leisure director for Marylebone Village.

The former Shaftesbury portfolio executive will be taking over from Jenny Casebourne from early next year when she goes on maternity leave.

Casebourne joined the Howard de Walden Estate in October last year from JLL, where she was a director within the central London retail team.

Andrew Hynard, chief executive of the Howard de Walden Estate, said: “Rob’s experience of integrating retail and leisure into an environment that also serves office and residential communities makes him well placed to work on Marylebone Village. It’s a dynamic location which meets changing requirements in the course of each day and week.

“Jenny has made significant progress since taking over as director of retail and leisure, and we want to maintain that momentum.”

The retail and leisure offering within Marylebone Village is concentrated on Marylebone High Street and a series of connecting streets. It comprises more than £650m of retail and leisure assets which are home to a range of brands such as KJ’s Laundry, MatchesFashion, Lulu Lemon, J Crew, KoiBird and SoulCycle, which will open next year.
